If we believe in something strongly enough, will occur. What we can imagine, we will bring to us as our minds have the power of a magnet. This is known as the law of attraction. It is a potent function of the mind. Think, feel and believe you are going to have a wonderful life, and you will begin to create it. This is something you must practice, but when you work to imagine what you want to achieve, then it can begin to occur. Your mind power is simply amazing!
We all have mind power that we just do not realize. In fact, research has proven that we only use about 10% of our brain power. What a waste! We seem to only stick to the simple things and bypass the rest. That could be why we seem to think life is nothing but trouble. Your life as it is today is a reflection of your thinking. What happens in your mind appears in your life because it is what you conceive and believe. Also called lucid dreaming, conscious dreaming is a state where you are aware that you are in the middle of a dream and can then start to control the goings-on of the experience. You can do anything that you can imagine while having a lucid dream, as soon as you understand that you are dreaming.
It may sound like something out of science fiction; but conscious dreaming is very real and is something that you can do with a little practice. Lucid dreaming is not hard to do � and being able to control; your dreams can help you to find out more about yourself and serve as a valuable place to express yourself. There are some techniques which are tried and tested for bringing about lucid dreams.
Before you get started, take a step back and think about what you want to accomplish by means of conscious dreaming � do you just want to have more enjoyable dreams, or are there goals in your life which lucid dreaming can help you to reach?
To get started with conscious dreaming condition yourself to recall the dreams you had the previous night. Also, focus on remembering all the details of your dreams. Keep a notebook, journal, or dream diary, whatever works best for you. You need to write down everything you can recall about your dreams as soon as you wake up. You will forget details of your dreams as the day goes by so always do it as soon as you wake up.

Try to keep track of your sleep schedule � this will help you to figure out when the best times for conscious dreaming are. Be sure not to deprive yourself of too much sleep, as you are actually less likely to have lucid dreams when sleep deprived.
It does not take long to learn the art of consciously controlling your dreams. It will not take years of study and practice as some may think. Just take some time to practice and work at it and you will be a conscious dreamer in no time.
Many think of lucid dreaming as something which takes years of practice to learn; but in fact, it isn�t that hard. It just takes a little practice to become a conscious dreamer.
If you are asleep and aware you are dreaming, this means you are having a lucid or conscious dream. This means you can control what happens while you are in this state. You will know you are dreaming so you can decide what happens next.

What exactly do people mean when they say manifesting abundance? By now, you have most likely heard any number of new age proponents and others telling us that we can control our circumstances and dictate our own destinies. If you think back to your own childhood, you have almost certainly heard this same idea from someone else before. Most likely, a parent or grandparent told you at least once that you could accomplish anything that you put your mind to - and they were right. Your own mind is probably trying to tell you that too; but a lot of us never listen to our own advice, no matter how sage it may be. When it comes down to it, you are responsible for your life; not anyone else.
At some point in our lives, we have all heard someone say that we are the masters of our own destiny. We can make our life just as we want it to be. It is within you to manifest abundance, only you can manifest abundance in your own life.
The simple truth is that the reason that the things in your life are the way they are is because you either want things to be this way or that you have not realized that you have the ability to change it by manifesting whatever you want. Anything in your life you are not happy with has almost certainly been put that way by you, not by anyone else. No one but you can create your reality.
You need to realize, it is you who has created the life you live. Then you need to know that the power is within you to make a change. You can begin right now to manifest abundance in your life. You simply need to change your way of thinking.
The fact of the matter is that mind power is the most powerful tool you have. In fact, the very way you think and the things you think about create the life you long for. For example, when you spend a lot of time thinking about how you’ll manage to pay your bills, you’re subconsciously attracting more bills to your life. Likewise, the more you worry about money, the more financial difficulty you’re likely to experience. The same can be said regarding a relationship, in that if you only focus on the negative aspects, you surely cannot expect good things to happen.
Ideally, you need to start focusing on all the positive aspects of your life because that’s the key to manifesting abundance. You need to concentrate on the things in your life which are good. For example, just think how amazing it is that you woke up this morning breathing on your own, you walked out into the garden, and of course that beautiful garden belongs to you, you have a lovely home, you have clothes to wear, and you have food to eat. Perhaps you should spend a few moments considering just how many good things you have in your life to be grateful for. You can be rest assured that once you’re able to be grateful for all the things you have, you’ll be able to focus on all those wonderful things you want to manifest.
First and foremost, you need to stop blaming other people for your misfortune, bearing in mind that the life you have now is simply a result of the way you think. Even though you may be thinking that you want to become rich, you want to be successful, and you want to be happy, you’re still not focusing on the good things you have.
As an illustration, try one of the thought experiments which follow. These will show you the power that your thoughts have. When you change the way that you think about life, you will change your life. You have to stop worrying about money, especially about having enough money or wanting more. Don’t think about any of these things at all. What you should focus on instead is what you already have - think about how you are financially well off enough to pay for the things that you have now.
Another experiment is this: start to think; not only that, believe that you have plenty of financial resources, no matter what you may have thought before. It will take some effort to do this, since you have to keep those old patterns of worrying about money out of your mind. In order to manifest abundance, this is the key - you have to genuinely think that you already have everything you need.
Remember, positive attracts positive, and negative attracts negative. If you spend your time thinking about the good things in your life, you’ll end up attracting more good things, and this of course will mean that you can begin improving the life you have. Above all, you need to realize that you are the only person in the world that can manifest abundance in your life.

Astral projection is often thought of as “mystical”, but in fact just about everyone has the ability. In fact, lots of people experience astral projection unaware. So the trick sit is to have control over it and do with it what you want to do.
While this article is an attempt to help people learn how to astral project using different techniques, you should keep in mind that astral projection is a personal experience so ideally, you need to apply a technique that works best for yourself. Furthermore, we�re taking the liberty of assuming that you are already familiar with the meaning of astral projection.
The first technique in learning how to astral project, is one that you can do when you’ve gone to bed for the night. Let’s break it down into five steps.
*Your first goal is to initiate a state of adequate relaxation by relaxing your entire body. In order to reach this state of relaxation you need to be lying down and then, starting at the lowest point which is your toes, tense each muscle and then relax it again. Once you�ve finished doing this with your toes, you do it with you feet, then your lower legs, then your thighs and so you continue upwards until you eventually finish with the muscles in your face. If at this point you feel your body is becoming heavy, do be alarmed at all as this is exactly what should be happening.
*Second � Focus on your breathing. Take deep, slow breaths and concentrate on the feeling of the air filling your lungs. Exhale slowly, visualizing your tension and stress leaving your body each time you exhale.
*Third � Focus on the relaxed, heavy way your physical body feels. It probably feels like a heavy lump of clay or a slab of stone. Now turn your focus to the way that your astral body feels weightless and able to float free of your physical body. Imagine your astral body drifting upwards from the bed.
*Fourth � Now you may have the experience of being able to see perfectly well in your darkened room which should now be illuminated by a purple light � even though your eyes are closed! Turn your attention to the light which is coming from your ceiling.
*Envision yourself pulling the drawing imagine that you are pulling the ceiling light into you. As you’re doing this you might well get the sensation that you’re floating. If you feel this, you can likely look “down” at your own physical body lying still on the bed.
Once you reach this stage, you have consciously astral projected for the first time. Now you’re ready to astral travel. Here’s another method if the above doesn’t seem to work for you.
This one is known as the gazing technique and it’s actually quite simple. Choose an object which you can see while you’re lying in bed and focus on it. It doesn’t matter what this object is, just make sure that it will be within your line of sight while you’re lying down.
Gaze at this object and stay focused on it. Eventually, your eyelids will become too heavy to keep open � but if you’ve succeeded you’ll still be able to see this object in front of you. Continue to gaze at it until you feel an urge to stand up. When you do, you’ll see your physical body lying in bed asleep! Don’t be alarmed; this means you’ve succeeded and can begin to astral travel.
If you aren’t immediately successful with these techniques, don’t give up. There are other ways to astral project, though any technique can take some practice. Be persistent and you will learn how to astral project before too long.
You see, no matter what methodologies you attempt with astral projection or any new spiritual discipline, it’s your own subconscious mind which is the main obstacle. Your subconscious mind must feel like it’s perfectly alright for the astral body to temporarily depart from the physical body. To this end you can do some affirmations for several minutes every day to re-program the subconscious mind. Remember that all affirmations must be stated in the positive and they cannot be lies. (I.E. do not talk as if you have already astral projected; talk as if you have made the decision to astral project and you know it’s perfectly natural to do so).

Clairvoyance is a French word meaning ‘clear vision’ (clair means clear and voyance means vision). Voyant is the adjectival present participle of voyance, so a clairvoyant is someone who ’sees clearly’. This is a literal translation; when the word is used in French it merely means someone with excellent vision. Of course, that�s not what we mean when using the word in English.
One thing that further complicates the definition is the fact that the term ‘clairvoyant’ has been used over the years to refer to different things. ‘Clairvoyant’ has gradually been used as a term that applies to an individual that displays various ranges of psychic or paranormal abilities. The definition that accurately sums up what a clairvoyant is a person that is able to know specific thins about a person, location, event, or object with a means other than the five physical sense. In summary, clairvoyance refers to the use of ESP or extra-sensory perception.
A clairvoyant�s abilities are generally confined to knowledge about something occurring at the present which they could not perceive with the usual five senses. There have been cases of a clairvoyant receiving knowledge of events or the conditions of places, people or objects in the future or the past � however, these events are more properly termed pre- or past-cognition.
The means that a clairvoyant uses to discover the mysterious information can vary, but it generally breaks down into 1 of 6 different categories. Clairvoyance is likely associated with the first form, the phenomenon of remote viewing. While engaging in remote viewing, a clairvoyant is able to see a location, person, event, or object that is not in their view. This can take the form of some sort of visual hallucination or may be seen in their mind’s eye.
The second form is clairaudience. In this form the clairvoyant receives information remotely by sound of the event. Hearing noises or voices which other people and recording equipment cannot. Such as hearing voices of the dead and this phenomenon may cross over into the realm of mediums.
The third form or type is called clairsentience. With clairsentience an individual gains their knowledge with feeling and touch. This may include the feeling an object that are not present. This is more of a feeling or ‘vibe’ that a clairvoyant gets from events, locations or people that are out of the clairvoyants visual view.
Clairalience is the fourth type or form. This form, clairalience, involves the sense of smell of the clairvoyant. The knowledge, for example, of the individual (clairvoyant) is gained through the smell of flowers and grass of a meadow, the ordor of blood and gunpowder. An it is unlikely anyone else near them can detect these smells and there is no source for these various scents.
Clairgustance refers to information in the form of taste. The clairvoyant may taste flavors which come from no apparent source and taste things from a distance.
Claircognizance refers to a clairvoyant ‘just knowing’ something without any explanation for their having received this knowledge. There is no sensory analogue to claircognizance, making it a difficult phenomenon to explain.
Many documentations of occurrences of people considered clairvoyants exist throughout history. From different cultures worldwide and has been incorporated into some religions of the world.
For example, in Buddhism, clairvoyance is considered to give humans the capability to reach advanced levels of meditation. And the ability to feel vibrations sent out by other people.
Clairvoyance in Catholicism has been consider a miraculous ability. A disciple of Saint Francis, Saint Claire, had a vision over five hundred years ago. In this vision she witnessed the death of Saint Francis while she was miles away at the time. She was made the Saint of television. The literal meaning of television is seeing over a distance.
However, no one has been able to definitely prove the non-existence of clairvoyance and the evidence in favor of its existence is mounting. Overall, the public is becoming more accepting of the idea that clairvoyance is a real phenomenon.
No matter what the skeptics are saying, nobody has ever been able to completely disprove that clairvoyance is possible. In fact, there is plenty of evidence that shows that there are many genuine clairvoyants among us. In general, parapsychologists, scientists, and the public is starting to become more open minded and seem more ready to accept the fact that clairvoyance is very real.
We still do not understand how it works, but there is no reason to deny its existence. Its been suggested that all humans were clairvoyant in the past, but have lost their powers for some reason or other. The ability remains dormant, but it is thought that anyone who wants to activate that dormant power, could do so with an effort on their part.

Wouldn�t it be nice to have a lucid dream, to be aware you are dreaming and control what happens? Of course you do, but how does one learn to do this?
Knowing why you have chosen to become a lucid dreamer is important. How can it benefit you personally? To know this we can work backwards from what it considered normal sleep.
Why is lucid dreaming different from normal sleep? When you lie down to go to sleep, your eyes close and hopefully you go to sleep. When you wake up you remember dreaming something or you don�t remember anything at all.Kind of strange when you think about it.
The human body has a built in requirement for sleep. It rests the body so that we are prepared to continue our lives. Without it, there is strong evidence for insanity. That is all well and good but there is nothing saying we cannot control certain aspects of sleep is there?
What if you could control your dream rather than the other way around? A lucid dreamer is someone who can do exactly that; someone who is not a passenger but a driver of their dreams.
Are you are ready to begin but remain unsure of how any of this is possible? That is ok we are getting there, there are two way to enter lucid dream state. The first is a dream initiated lucid dream, (DILD). This happens once you have already begun to dream and during the dream, you come to the realization that you are indeed dreaming. At this point, you have brought an element of control to the dream because your conscious mind is now involved.
Another popular method is to have a wake initiated lucid dream (WILD); this is a straight shot from awake to asleep with no lapse in your consciousness. This is usually achieved by purposefully retaining awareness during the hypnagoogic state, which directly precedes sleep.
How do you go about achieving these two states of lucid dreaming?
Dream Recall
If you want to become a lucid dreamer, one of the easiest ways is to begin by learning dream recall. Dream recall is nothing more than being able to remember your dreams. Learning to remember you dreams makes it easier for you to recognize that you are in a dream while sleeping � you are more than likely to either have the same dream more than once, or at least have elements which recur in your dreams.
Keeping a dream journal is the best way to learn this skill. A dream journal is for writing down anything which you can remember about your dreams for future reference. You should do this immediately after waking up; the longer you wait, the harder it will be to recall.
MILD refers to Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams
Dr Steven LaBerge is a leading scientist who studies lucid dreaming. He was the founder of MILD. This method involves telling yourself you will remember your dreams or perhaps an object in the dream. When you see the object while dreaming it will trigger your mind into knowing you are in a dream.
Wake-Back-to-Bed (WBTB)
To use the wake back to bed method you need do little initially beyond setting your clock to wake you up. Set your clock for about five hours sleep give or take an hour, once the alarm goes off get up and do something. Read a book, your dream journal anything but going back to sleep, after approximately an hour you may go back to bed. In studies done this method has 60% of the time. When you are interrupted in the middle of sleep, you are interrupting rapid eye movement sleep. This is the time when dreams are the most active. Therefore, you stop in the middle of your best dreamtime only to return to sleep a short time later, improving your chances of entering lucid dream state.
Dr, LaBerge says that his method has a 60% rate of success. Why is this? Basically, you wake in the middle of an REM cycle, so when you return to sleep, you will have a better chance of lucid dreaming.
Cycle Adjustment Technique
Daniel Love came up with this way to accomplish lucid dreaming. Start getting up an hour and a half earlier. After you get used to this, go back to getting up at your usual time. Since you are used to getting up earlier but don�t have to now, your mind is still thinking you are awake, therefore you will be more likely to be aware in your dream.
When you consider all the methods and techniques wake initiated is by far the most intriguing way to enter lucid dreams. What you have to do is manage to keep the brain aware while the rest of you falls asleep. You can enter your dreams much like entering a theater. You go into watch the movie, set down and the light go down, (sleep) dark envelopes you just before the movements on the screen appear.
The trick is to keep your conscious mind aware and let your physical body sleep. This can prove to be very interesting. Lay back, close your eyes and wait for your dream to begin. Imagine you have put a movie in the DVD player and you are waiting for it to begin. Focus on the black screen until your dream begins to play out.
You need to stay aware; it is a lot like self hypnosis. This is not a good exercise to try when you are tired as your mind may not stay as aware. Try to focus on things that require brain activity such as doing math puzzles, jogging or anything to keep your mind active. Breathe evenly and focus on relaxing every part of your body.
The sounds bring the two sides of the brain in synch. Your brainwaves are then converted to REM waves the time during sleep when you dream and the frequency at which lucid dreams occur.
With self-hypnosis and a conscious preparedness before you go to sleep anyone can practice lucid dreaming.
This type of sound can alter your brain and bring you to the REM stage of sleep very quickly. This is where your lucid dreaming will occur.
Anyone can learn to be a lucid dreamer. Practice the self hypnosis and keep telling yourself when awake that you will be aware when you are dreaming. This will prepare you for your lucid dream experience.
